Meet Mic McPherson

Michael L, (Mic) McPherson - Born and raised in the West, his education includes a degree in geology and extensive training in electronics, engineering and physics. His interests are hunting and handloading with his most avid interest being the perfection of the art of handloading. 

He is Editor of Metallic Cartridge Reloading and Cartridges of the World, and he is Technical Editor for Handloader's Digest.  He writes columns for Precision Shooting and Tactical Shooter magazines and is a contributor to Rifle Shooter,  Varmint Hunter and The Accurate Rifle magazines.

Mic is proud to be a member of The Shootists, where he feels among friends as at no other place.

His other interests include lost mines and treasure hunting and he has spent quite a bit of time in those pursuits.  In 1989 McPherson and a close friend, Ron Feldman, identified the location of the fabled "Lost Adams Gold Diggin's".  That adventure led to the co-authored historical novel Zigzag Canyon (autographed copies available) and both men were featured on the TV show "Unsolved Mysteries" in 1992 as a result.
